Samantha L. Walters
Director of Academic and Career Advising
Samantha Walters launched her advising career at IU Indianapolis (then IUPUI) in August 2006. Her prior experience includes serving as a senior academic adviser in University College before joining the Journalism staff in November 2013 as director of advising services. She advised first- and second-year students on course planning, goal setting, and academic and career development. She creates partnerships with students to foster independence and empower them to become active in their decision-making processes.
