IU Indianapolis has honored School of Liberal Arts faculty members, Laura Holzman, Elizabeth Kryder-Reid and Audrey Ricke, with the 2025 Open Education Award for Teaching Toxic Heritage. Their openly licensed resource brings together interdisciplinary readings, discussions and activities designed to foster critical engagement with pressing issues of environmental harm and community memory.
The award celebrates their commitment to expanding access to knowledge, empowering students and advancing the values of open education at IU Indianapolis and beyond.
